Dr. Artem Cherkasov, Co-Founder and President of Artemis Therapeutics, delivered a keynote lecture titled “The Future of AI in Drug Discovery” at the Graduate and Postdoctoral Research Symposium (GPRS), hosted by the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences on May 7, 2026.
The keynote focused on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in drug discovery, a field in which Dr. Cherkasov has conducted pioneering research in computational chemistry, molecular modelling, and AI-enabled virtual screening.
